Key facts:
- GDL searches for inventions; it is not a brainstorming or ideation tool.
- Candidate concepts are grounded, challenged on novelty and prior art,
  evaluated adversarially, and must name decisive tests with explicit kill
  criteria. GDL is designed to reject attractive ideas when the evidence does
  not support them.
- Results remain hypotheses until evidence advances them; human judgment and
  engineering review remain part of the process.
- Status: GDL 1.0 — core discovery architecture established. Current work
  focuses on high-value invention discovery, evidence development,
  frontier-model evaluation, and commercial application.
- Scope: engineering, manufacturing, energy, materials, computation,
  chemistry, and biology-inspired or biology-adjacent technology research
  where these disciplines intersect with beneficial scientific and
  engineering discovery.

  decades of experience designing and building machinery, automation,
  robotics, and production equipment. (Westar is also known for Team
  Whyachi, its championship combat-robotics team — a sister brand. GDL is
